Arch-rivals India and Pakistan to fight each other in Asia cup 2018

Not just Indians and Pakistanis but the whole world awaits to see this match in any tournament. History has built up so many expectations on the teams that both India and Pakistan now fight for blood in the ground.

Almost every knowledgeable person in the world knows about the history of India and Pakistan. Besides constant tensions and three major wars, the relation between the immediate neighbors has never been that amicable. The major countries participating in this tournament are full members of Asian Cricket Council (ACC) namely India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan. There are other countries that participate in this tournament which are Associate members of ACC like UAE, Hong Kong, Bhutan, China, Iran, Nepal, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Singapore, Malaysia, etc.

Qualifier matches are organized between some of these teams, to decide their entrance into the Asia Cup and in the 2018 Asia Cup Qualifiers where Hong Kong, Malaysia, Nepal, Oman, Singapore, and UAE competed, Hong Kong beat UAE in the finals to seize a place in this year’s Asia Cup.

Though there are six countries that are participating in the Asia Cup, the most followed and probably predicted to be the most thrilling will be the match between India and Pakistan. While the rest of the matches in Asia Cup 2018 start from 15th September, India vs Pakistan match is on 19th September.
