Watch Live Streaming of ICC Women’s World Cup 2017 on YuppTV

The ICC Women’s World Cup was first commenced in 1973 in England. Since then there have been 10 World Cup Championships for Women of which Australia stood as Champions in 6, England bagged three and New Zealand won 1. India reached the finals of ICC Women’s World Championship held in South Africa in 2005 but lost the title to Australia in that campaign. The team is again ready for the battle now with a rocking team and high expectations.

The 2017 ICC Women’s World Cup tournament is being hosted by England. ICC has agreed to broadcast 10 games of ICC Women’s World Cup live on television and the remaining matches will be streamed live on the ICC website. The matches can also be streamed live on YuppTV from Canada and Continental Europe (not available in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). Another specialty of the 2017 Women’s World Cup is that DRS (Umpire Decision Review system) is going to be introduced for the first time in Women’s Cricket.

8 teams will be participating in this World Cup of which 4 get an automatic qualification for the 2014- 2016 ICC Women’s Championship. The remnant of 4 places was to be filled based on the qualifier matches held at the 2017 World Cup qualifier which is ten team tournaments. It was held in Sri Lanka in February 2017. So, the 8 times participating in the championship now, are Australia, England, New Zealand, West Indies, (qualified for the Women’s Championship) and India, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan (qualified in the qualifiers).

Mithali Raj (the highest run scorer in the Indian team and Captain) will be leading the team in this tournament too. Other notable players in the tournament are Meg Lanning, Ellyse Perry an all-rounder from Australia, Nat Sciver from England, Suzie Bates, Sophie Devine from New Zealand, Mithali Raj, Harmanpreet Kaur from India, Lizelle Lee from South Africa, Nipuni Hansika, Shashikala Siriwardane from Sri Lanka, and Bisma Maroof from Pakistan. Under the wonderful captainship of the respective teams, these players will be the strengths of the teams.


 The matches will be held at 5 venues, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Somerset, Gloucestershire and the final will be played at Lord’s as announced. The matches will commence at 3:00 PM IST. All the matches will be streamed live on top websites across the world.
